Francois Lavoie and Pack Hanrahan kicked off the Tournament of Champions with an entertaining back-and-forth battle. Hanrahan’s late-game clutchness was able to help him edge past Lavoie. Hanrahan would move on to Tim Gruendler. In a tough match Gruendler seemed too much for Hanrahan and he would move on to the next match. Wes Malott and Gruendler battled it out, but Big Nasty brought all his might and secured the victory. For the final Kris Prather and Malott brought the intensity. Unfortunately Pratherâs wrist couldnât keep up with the powerful might of Big Nasty and Big Nasty would secure the victory in Round 1.
