Boeing’s Starliner astronauts to return from space next year, NASA says

What was supposed to be a week-long mission will now become an eight month stay on the International Space Station.
NASA officials have made the decision to keep two astronauts in orbit, out of an abundance of caution.
Their Boeing shuttle suffered several malfunctions enroute to the ISS back in June, and now a Space X shuttle will now bring them home next year.
