Bangladesh’s military has taken caretaker control of the country, after prime minister Sheikh Hasina resigned and fled to neighbouring India.
Weeks of mass protests forced her out, ending her 15-year rule.
Demonstrators poured on to streets around the country to celebrate her departure.
