At least 27 dead, 63 injured after fire at Bangkok pub
The fire began shortly before midnight, and spread quickly through the venue. Authorities believe the fire was caused by an electrical fault and reports say many victims were trapped near locked exits.
Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul visited the scene and expressed condolences to the families of the victims and ordered an investigation into the disaster.
